Well established heavy truck repair shop seeking mechanics to work on gas and diesel trucks. Our shop is located in Brookfield, CT and we provide mobile truck and trailer services in New York and Connecticut. We are looking for experienced technicians for both in shop and mobile repair positions. Please have your own tools.
The successful candidates will be motivated, self-starters who must have the skills to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Position requires employees to perform physical duties on the job such as replacing truck tires, starters, alternators, trailer door hinges, and drive shafts. Needs to be able to conduct road service calls with our fully stocked service trucks.
We offer a good working environment, hourly pay, vacation, sick days (PTO) and 401k benefits. We also provide uniforms. Drug testing required. Full and Part Time Available. Flexible schedules and some nights and weekends may be required. ASE/ASA certifications are a plus. Please have the ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends.
Experience:
Minimum: 2 years of diesel/gas engine maintenance, some electrical experience
Education:
High school or equivalent
License:
Valid driver’s license and/or CDL (possible opportunity to earn more money), with safe driving record.
